Mount Bain Cabin is a luxury glamping eco-cabin situated in the Mount Bain Private Nature Reserve at the foot of the Bainskloof Pass. Just under 90 minutes from Cape Town, the cabin is perched high up on the Hawequas mountainside, with unparalleled views of the Breedekloof Valley.
Mount Bain Cabin was born out of a desire to step away from the fast-paced lifestyle of city living and connect with nature. As such, we’ve curated an experience for guests that embodies the principles of slower, simpler, and more mindful ways of being.
There are a multitude of hiking routes in the area, one in the reserve that leads to a waterfall. Guests have river access for swimming, SUPing, and exploring. Our surrounding area has a plethora of Wine Farms, Restaurants, Gin Distilleries, Mountain Bike Tracks, and other things to do. Alternatively, stay inside and laze around the fireplace, enjoy an outdoor bath in nature, or fire up the wood-fired hot tub. Enjoy the slow life and watch the Klipspringers and Jackal Buzzards, the sunrise, mountains, clouds, sunset, moonrise, and snow peaks in winter... Experience nature and its elements from above!
